Change Is Coming!
Change is coming!
We truly appreciate our global community of passionate women and men, whose dedication to women's economic empowerment online and in your own communities is unmatched. Your contributions in the form of stories, shared resources and engaging discussions move and drive us to further improve on our end.
Following the launch of the Knowledge Gateway for Women's Economic Empowerment in September 2013, we quickly outgrew our name and in 2015, changed it to Empower Women, to reflect the larger scope of our work and reach. Thanks to your continuous drive and participation, Empower Women has now outgrown its current website, EmpowerWomen.org, as it has evolved from a content aggregator into a global movement for women's economic empowerment, enabled by technology.
To enhance your experience and collaboration on our platform, we have been working behind the scenes for the past few months with the awesome team at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). With their support, we will launch a redesigned EmpowerWomen.org next month.
What can you expect in February?
On Friday 19 February at 12:00 p.m. EST, EmpowerWomen.org will go into a 'content freeze' mode.
What does this mean?
- You will be able to continue exploring all of our resources, but
- You will not be able to login during this time.
- You will not be able to contribute to EmpowerWomen.org during the content freeze. This includes participating in e-discussions, commenting on blog posts, uploading stories or resources, etc.
Not a member yet? No worries. You will be able to register as soon as the redesigned platform goes live.
During this period, please contact us on email@example.com in case of any questions or if you would like to receive our monthly newsletter or other updates.
What can you expect in March?
We will launch the redesigned website on 8 March. You will then be able to start contributing your ideas, resources and stories again.
Our first release on 8 March will showcase a modern, clean and fun EmpowerWomen.org with new style, easy access to content and resources, improved ways to connect locally as well as globally, and an overall enhanced experience.
Following the March release, we will continue to gradually enhance and build upon the platform and introduce new features.
We look forward to your support and feedback during this process.
