Empowering Moments in 2015

2015 was a great year for women’s economic empowerment! We have pulled together some empowering moments during the year.

We collaborated with many of you in organizing e-discussions, webinars, Twitter chats and offline events. The iLearn mobile-learning platform was launched in 7 languages, and is now available on regular mobile phones to over 1 billion women and men across the world. We nominated 135 champions and have been working closely with all of them. Three campaigns helped bring attention to women’s economic empowerment: the I am woman Campaign, the Every Purchase Matters Campaign and the Call for Commitments on Women’s Economic Empowerment.

We look forward to creating inspiring and empowering moments with all of you in 2016!
