Female Talent Retention is a Must

Spain

After working for almost 18 years in the corporate world as a strategy consultant - therefore well trained and experienced in identifying problems and solutions, I decided to start my own consulting business "BreakTheGap" in order to help companies retain best talent. During two decades I saw how brilliant and talented women dropped out or settled for under qualified jobs or started their own business. This is not good for companies ethics or business results. In fact, several studies, McKinsey's amongst, them show that gender diverse workplaces outperform others. So I took action and started my PhD studies on "Female Retention at the workplace" and certified myself as a Gender Auditor Facilitator with the International Labour Organization. As a gender advocate and proud Empower Women Champion 2015-2016, I aim to help businesses capitalize their best talent and, therefore, help promote women's economic empowerment.

Female talent retention is the center of development at workplaces, it is core of gender equality. I love what you intend to do to ensure women's rights at workplaces are adhered to by the employers. Thanks for sharing.

The issue of female talent retention is definitely concerning when you look at how many women are successful in their early careers but few get to the top. It's great to have advocates like your self with a lot of practical experience in the private sector advocating for fellow women in this way.
