I believe that empowered women exude a visible joy so I decided to seek an answer on this just to show the effects of empowerment in a woman’s life.I have the pleasure of knowing the happiest person on earth, this happy girl, Patience Nyange. I asked her what empowerment means to her and what drives her and she said-

I am not settling for anything less and this zeal, pushes me out of my bed every day, just knowing that I want to live for something bigger than myself, to have an impact to those younger than me and the next generation. That way, when I am finally gone, there will be a legacy that says, “Patience Nyange was here and yes, her legacy live on” - that for me, is true empowerment. My late father maintaiined, that there will always be equal opportunities, for his 3 daughters as well as 2 sons.He emphasized the importance of education, highlighting it as the key and foundation to ultimate empowerment.. I have always set high standards for myself, be it at school, at work and even in my personal life. I have found true fulfilment by defining who I was yesterday, who am I today and my aspirations for tomorrow. Then, I leave the rest to God. Steve Jobs mantra about work is what I live for, “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle for anything less."
