Women who drive innovation and creativity

United States of America

“At PwC, we recognize that everyone’s success is connected. Empowered women speak up, have courage, and make connections that drive innovation and creativity.” Lisa Feigen Dugal, PwC’s Chief Diversity Officer, Advisory

PwC’s Women In Technology (WIT) is an industry leading business model for organizational inclusion. What began as a grassroots community of interest now includes over 1,400 members throughout PwC’s network of firms.

WIT initiatives aim to empower our female professionals. One such program is the Mentorship program, which matches them with mentors who are senior leaders in the firm. Here’s what one of our WIT mentees has to say - “Being a part of this community is like having a sounding board; someone I trust to discuss confidential issues and provide guidance.

Other initiatives include educating men about how they can help to drive behavior change, promoting global peer-to-peer learning, highlighting stories of successful women, developing leaders through internal and external opportunities, and much more!

By having the confidence to share a message and enlist allies, PwC’s WIT is now a scalable, framework for success that is contributing to women’s empowerment in the workplace by helping to attract, grow and retain top talent. Find out more about PwC’s WIT here.

I am loving what PWC is doing to empower their women. It's only through education of people that innovation, productivity and skills would grow. Thanks for sharing and keep it up!

Inspirational. I like the mix of various activities from mentorship programs to peer learning. Such an inclusive and immersive environment can definitely promote women empowerment. I hope to see other companies following suit. If SMEs can also bring such programs into their organisation, it would be impactful.

This so true..... the more women we have connected the cataclysmic effect we will experience - it is time to have more women complete each other instead of competing against themselves.

Creativity and innovation are two of a kind, they are not rocket science, they are inspired. They mostly find expression in collaborative and inclusive environment such as what PWC WIT model provides.
