Bio
I am working on, and passionate about, the possibilities of science, technology and innovation (STI) for meeting global development challenges, especially for the empowerment of girls and women. Currently I lead UN Women's work on ICT for Development and manage the UN Women Innovation Facility and have 17+ years experience in the UN system on STI, organizational management and learning. My enthusiasm for this subject carries over to my personal life where I have organized hackathons for girls and for several years led a girl scout troop focused on STEAM.
