Bio
Nancy Mitchell is a consultant supporting Canada's engagement in the WE EMPOWER project. Previously, Nancy interned at UN Women's Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific supporting both the Strategic Partnerships team and the Ending Violence Against Women team. In addition to supporting the WE EMPOWER project, Nancy volunteers for several national organizations focused on gender equality and youth engagement including Women In Cities International and the CAN Youth Network. She holds a Masters Degree in Political Science with a Graduate Collaborative Specialization in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Toronto.
