Gayoung Kim is currently a senior at Gyeonggi Academy Of Foreign Languages (GAFL), majoring in English. She has been a passionate feminist since 2013 and has been involved in the activism for gender equality ever since. She runs an independent media for intersectional feminists called "Feminist Gazette." She has served as a chair for various Model United Nations, including GLIS MUN and KMUN. She founded the HP LGBT Network for LGBTQ+ members of the Harry Potter fandom to connect and network. She started The FanLit Project in hopes of bringing fandom culture into the mainstream, free from discrimination. She is currently serving as the Champion For Change 2016-2017 in UN Women's Empower Women Organisation. Her role model is UN Ambassador Samantha Powers.
