Amanda Chehrezad has nearly 15 years of experience working in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Her multidisciplinary background has led her to tackle diverse challenges in international development and global business. As the TOMODACHI Women's Leadership Program Manager at the U.S.-Japan Council Ms. Chehrezad provided expertise on women’s leadership challenges and opportunities to create an organizational culture of inclusion and developed long-term women's leadership goals and objectives. Formerly, Ms. Chehrezad was responsible for the strategic management of multi-million-dollar capacity building projects for international law enforcement officials under the U.S. Department of State’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section in Mexico. Ms. Chehrezad holds an MBA from Temple University, Japan Campus and a BA from the University of California at Davis. Ms. Chehrezad currently resided in Tokyo with her husband and three children.
