Nathan Balasubramanian is a gender equality and sexual violence prevention activist. He is also a STEM policy advocate – increasing role of science in policy making. He has served as Student Body president twice and has advised a variety of student and non-profit organizations. He currently serves as the graduate advisory board member for Its on Us campaign – mid west, and a member of working group for gender equality at UNIANYD. He is currently working to end sexual violence on college campuses by creating partnerships between student groups, non-profits, and city governments. He is also researching to create a working model that will help expand student activism to community activism. He completed his B.E from Anna University, India in 2013 and is currently pursuing double Master’s at Wright State University, Ohio. He is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa - National Leadership Honor Society, NASPA – Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education, AAAS.
