I am a 25 year old young lady who holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree with a major in Gender Studies, International Relations and Public Policy & Administration. I am currently a Young African Leaders Initiative 2016 Fellow and I am passionate about Gender equality. I believe that by promoting gender equality we will reduce the amount of poverty, gender based violence and illiteracy. I am currently collecting sanitary pads that I donate to girl students who cannot afford to buy sanitary pads every month. No girl child should miss out out on going to school and especially because of not having access to sanitary pads.
