LISTEN TO THE CRY OF WOMEN BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE TRUTH IS MORE STRANGER THAN MET THE EYES.
Sevidzem Ernestine Leikeki was born on the 2nd of August 1985, of Cameroon nationality and is married with 4 children. While growing up I developed a strong drive to forge ahead and a spirit to engage people in a life changing process. I grew up in a humble family but thinking success to get success, with high positive thinking mind. My community is blessed with natural resources but despite these resources poverty still hits hard in the community. It is my desire to discover ways in which I can change the social behavior of my community toward environmental protection, empower women and education of the girl child in particular, help my community realize her potential and work together for a fairer, healthier and happier environment. I believe that the future is in our hands and that true change can only come to our communities if women and girls build their capacity to take part in sustainable development.
