Bio
Sienna Nordquist is a first-year Woodruff Scholar at Emory University in Atlanta, GA; beginning her undergraduate studies with the pursuit of an economics and international studies double major. Sienna is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the 2BU Platform, a Vanda Inc. organization designed to help teens be true to the essence of who they are. Sienna served as a 2015 Global Community Champion for Women’s Economic Empowerment at Empower Women, an arm of United Nations Women, and was blessed to be a Panelist for the “Driving Change for Women’s Economic Empowerment” UN Panel as part of this role. She was also a very active, nationally competitive Lincoln-Douglas Debater during her high school years, earning herself two career bids to the Tournament of Champions and qualifying in the top 1% of U.S. debaters at the 2015 NSDA National Speech & Debate Tournament in Dallas. Sienna is deeply passionate about solving international issues, particularly those affecting women and children.
