“Every woman that finally figured out her worth, has picked up her suitcases of pride and boarded a flight to freedom, which landed in the valley of change.”
― Shannon L. Alder
My name is Angel Ndlovu. Born in 1986 at Nkayi Rural District hospital. I had very humble beginnings walking for almost 20kms to school as a child. I look back today and wonder how I managed to walk all that distance when I was just 6 years old. I realise that I did not have any options since this was the closest school in the village. My father believed so much in education but he did not earn much as he was working as a security guard in the bank. My father transferred me when I was 10 years old to the city for better education whilst my mother remained in rural areas to take care of our home. I have experienced a lot of pain in life. Mother passed away whilst I was doing my first year at university. I did not bury her because I was in the exam. My father passed away a day before my wedding. Against all odds I recently graduated my masters with 6 Distinctions, registered a trust for OVCs in 2008 and empowering women through business seminars and giving back to the community
