Whoever destroys a soul, it is considered as if he destroyed an entire world. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world."br /br /-Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5; Yerushalmi Talmud
Mt name is Molly Pacheco and I am currently a member of UN-Women's Young Men in Gender Equality and Young Women in Gender Equality Task Forces. I am passionate about and eager to learn more about creating initiatives to further economic and social equality around the world. I began participating in the Task Forces during my time interning at UN-Habitat. Working at the UN has allowed me to see the importance of sustainability and resilience not only in countries or cities but in individuals themselves. I would like to further develop my research and analytical skills by starting my own research on the relationship between politics and the world economy along with humanitarian intervention and their relation to internal policies, in particular economic policies. Additionally, I would like to work with other individuals who share my goals in order to develop initiatives that aid in addressing the structural inequalities within politics, the world and local economies and health.
