A panel discussion by the WE EMPOWER programme of the European Union, UN Women and the International Labour Organization will focus on leveraging capital to advance women’s empowerment in tech. It will address how public and private investors – including angel investors, venture capitalists and institutional investors – have the power to ensure that capital is used in ways that advance gender equality and women’s empowerment while generating the most sustainable impact. It will offer concrete insights and examples to effectively use capital to drive this change, anticipating rapid innovation and opportunities that can be maximized now to close gender gaps into the future.
