REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Only participants with special issued UN pass will be allowed in the ECOSOC Conference Room. The pass should match the name and surname of the participant, as indicated in the ID or Driving License.
The WEPs Forum is a restricted event that is open only to those who receive the confirmation. Please note that appropriate event badges are required to enter the UN that need to be picked up at the office of the UN Global Compact on the address provided below. Participants must carry a Government-issued Photo ID to pick up their event badges. Badges cannot be picked up on behalf of confirmed WEPs participants unless prior notice has been provided to the organizers.
Pick up Event Badge to Enter the UN
Appropriate event badges are required to enter the UN. To collect passes and ensure adequate time to clear security, confirmed WEPs Forum participants who have registered for the event online are requested to pick up their passes at the office of the United Nations Global Compact, located at 685 Third Avenue, 12th Floor, New York, NY 10017 on 15 March from 9:00 – 14:00.
Badges must be picked up here before going to the UN.
Participants must carry a Government-issued Photo ID (driver’s license or passport) to collect their badges. Kindly ensure that the name you have registered for the event with is the same as the name on your ID.
Please note that badges will only be issued to confirmed WEPs Forum participants registered for the event and will not be issued to additional staff or other accompanying persons.
Badges cannot be collected by someone on behalf of a confirmed WEPs Forum participant unless prior notice has been provided to the organizers.
UN Security will not grant any exceptions.
Please note that even if you are registered for other CSW events, you will still need an events badge for the WEPs Forum to be able to attend it.
The Forum will be held in the ECOSOC Conference Room at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. All confirmed WEPs Forum participants that have picked up their event badges must enter through the 46th Street and First Avenue entrance. All confirmed WEPs Forum participants will need to bring a Government Issued Photo ID.
Security at the UN
Security during events can take time. As such, we advise that you arrive at the venue by 2 pm to clear security. Luggage and large handbags are not permitted at the UN.
There will be open seating in the ECOSOC Conference Room.
If you are planning on attending other CSW activities, please note that your grounds pass for those activities will be distributed separately from the WEPs Forums, by event organizers of the side events you are registered for. Further information is available at the CSW Calendar of Side Events.
Travel and Accommodation
Please note that the organizers are unable to assist with accommodation, travel or visa processes.
Participants are encouraged to wear business attire.
Languages and Interpretation
English is the working language of the WEPs Event.
 UN staff possessing a valid UN Grounds Passes will be able to attend the event without a special events pass.
