In Kenya, Investment clubs or chamas as they are commonly referred to are a popular phenomenon where people come together, in most cases women, to pool their resources or a weekly or monthly basis. These resources are at times circulated between members or invested. Lately, most chamas have taken to investing their contributions. How then can these chamas or Investment clubs be a vehicle to achieving MDG3-To promote Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women and going beyond.
